Hurricane Sandy didn't effect the West Coast, but anglers in the east are hurting. Sandy cut down fishermen in New York and New Jersey right at the beginning of the fall striped bass run. Marinas were obliterated, tackle shops have been washed away, surf fishermen lost much of their coastal access, and thousands upon thousands of boats have been destroyed. Not too mention the incredible amount of coastal residents that lost their homes entirely.

 

But BD is here to help. The bleeding heart, striper, and "Rebuild & Fish" banner on these shirts was designed by Jersey Shore-based artist Skullboy (skullboy.net). Proceeds from sales will be donated to Restore Our Shore (restoreourshore.com), an organization devoted to rebuilding what was lost on the East Coast.
